If you are looking for a highly trained and experienced orthopedist in Lansing, you have come to the right place. At our practice, you will receive the highest quality medical treatment. Our medical office uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge technology. We meet all sterilization guidelines set forth by the ADA, OSHA and the Center for Disease Control. We know that many people may feel anxious about coming to the doctor, so it is our goal to make your visit with us as pain and anxiety free as possible. From the moment you walk into our office, you will receive a warm and friendly greeting from our staff. We treat all of our patients like family.

Making an Appointment

To make an appointment, you can either call us at the number listed above or fill out the Request an Appointment form. Please help us serve you better by keeping your scheduled appointments.  We understand that your schedule may change and you may need to cancel an appointment. Please inform us as far in advance as possible, so we are able to make that time available for the care of other patients. We also ask for your understanding when emergencies with other patients arise, requiring us to delay or reschedule your appointment. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Payment Options

We accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover credit cards as well as cash. We accept many insurance plans. Blue Cross, Blue Care Network, Medicare, PHP, workman’s compensation, and auto medical care insurance. To find out if we accept your plan, please call our office.

Insurance Policy

We participate with most insurance groups. We will need all of your insurance information before treatment and we will verify your coverage. Please understand your insurance policy is a contract between you and the carrier and it is your responsibility to know your insurance maximum and benefits. If you have had treatment at another office, it is your responsibility to know what insurance is being used at that office. It is important for you to be involved to help assure timely payments on your account. To find out if we accept your plan, please call our office.

Copays/Deductibles/Co-Insurnace

Payments for copays, deductibles and co-insurances are expected at the time of service. If not paid at the time of service a $25.00 administration fee will be applied to your account to cover fees for processing a billing statement.

Previous Patient Balance

All balances over 90 days must be paid in full before any other services are rendered. No appointment will be scheduled until balance is paid in full. Please feel free to contact our Billing/Accounts Department directly at (517) 393-2077 or (517) 393-2652 to resolve your account immediately.

Disability/FLMA/Benefits Forms

Effective November 1, 2016 a $20.00 fee for each form will be charged. The payment and signed authorization is required prior to completion of any form. Please allow 7-10 business days to process the form(s).

Request for Medical Records

Request for copies of medical records are processed by BACTES. The reproduction of medical records requests is quite extensive. BACTES is bound by HIPAA to track and report each request. In order to fulfill the request, BACTES will ask for an upfront fee ($25.00), the fee is according to Michigan State Law (Subsection 1 of Section 9 of Public Act 47 of 2004 (MCL-333.26269). Upon receipt of the payment, please allow 1-2 business days for processing. If you have any questions about the status of your request, you can contact BACTES directly at (800) 560-3800.

Scheduling a Surgical Procedure

If you decide to schedule an elective surgery we will verify your benefits and eligibility through your insurance company’s pre-certification process. It is our office policy to collect a deposit prior to surgery based on our findings. Typically, we find high deductible plans with deductibles that have not been met. Our Billing Department will contact you directly to make arrangements for a deposit.

Request for Pain Medication

If you have an appointment with your doctor, it’s very important to request your pain medication at that time. All pain medication refills requested over the phone can take up to three business days to process. Patients must pick up the written prescription and present photo ID.
